A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Sealed bids are invited for the City Square Sidewalk & ADA Improvements (CDBG Project No. 1201-24-132-PF-01) to be received at the office of the Mayor in Bruce, MS. Electronic bids may also be submitted through this site. All community development block grant (CDBG) rules and regulations apply, including compliance with Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968. Bidders must ensure opportunities are provided to Section 3 businesses and residents to the greatest extent feasible. Minority and woman-owned businesses are encouraged to participate and inquire about subcontracting opportunities. The successful bidder must comply with the Davis-Bacon Act regarding prevailing wage rates. The City is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits discrimination in contract awards. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any informality in the best interest of the owner. Bids may be held for up to 60 days for review and investigation of qualifications prior to award.
