The project will include: demolishing the grandstands, removing lights from lightpoles, removing lightpoles, restoring football goalposts, removing scoreboard, and restoring the site. Items demolished or removed from the site shall be hauled off and disposed of properly. Demolition & Hardscape Removal o Demolish grandstands and sheds ; remove all concrete , haul away debris , and backfill piling holes . Excavate and remove visitor - side concrete footers from old bleachers ; dispose of footers and backfill . Remove and dispose of blacktop from old track and field areas , including high jump and long jump areas . Fence , Gate & Safety Feature Removal . Remove and dispose of the gate and fence at the baseball entrance and walking path ; backfill all holes . Remove and dispose of the fence along the right side of the baseball diamond from the foul pole north . Remove chain -link fencing on the east side of the football field to the softball foul pole ; cut poles flush in blacktop , drive below grade , cold patch holes , and dispose of fencing . o Remove 20 safety rope poles and backfill holes Athletic Equipment & Field Feature Removal Remove and dispose of field goal posts from the practice field . Remove the scoreboard and save for JALSD ; remove associated concrete and backfill holes . Remove lights from poles , salvaging 12 for JA ; disconnect electrical service from the main power source . Remove 9.5 light poles ; grind poles 8 inches below grade , remove grindings , and backfill holes . Site Clearing & Initial Cleanup Remove and dispose of old track equipment , tires , trash , fencing , and unused athletic equipment . o Clear property north and west of the old track to the softball dugout , including removal of dead and hazardous trees to the property line while preserving healthy trees . o Remove and dispose of tires , trash , and old sports equipment north and east of the old track . Site Grading & Surface Preparation Rake the old track and driveway . Prep cleared areas north and east of the old track ; seed and straw disturbed areas . Final Improvements o Sand , prime , and paint field goal posts yellow .
