The United Counties of Leeds and Grenville (the owner), owns 18 multi-residential and 177 family rent-geared-to-income buildings located throughout Leeds Grenville. The building at 150 Stone St., Gananoque, requires TWO new air make-up units. Only the successful bidder will be required to submit a Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Sub Total Contract Price exclusive of all applicable taxes (i.e.: HST). Bond shall be in an amount equal to 50% of the Sub Total Contract Price (excluding all applicable taxes) in the form of CCDC 222 or the most recent Ontario Provincial Standard Form. A Bid Bond using CCDC 220, or the same format and content as in CCDC 220 or other form used by a Surety company, authorized by law to do business in the Province of Ontario, and acceptable to the Counties. The Bid Bond shall remain valid and in effect for a period not less than ninety (90) calendar days from the closing time and date. A Performance Bond for the due completion of the Work in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Contract, which bond shall be in an amount equal to 10% of the Sub Total Contract Price (excluding all applicable taxes) in the form of CCDC 221 or the most recent Ontario Provincial Standard Form or the Surety Association of Canada's new "process enhanced" performance bond.
