Demolition, site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Terrebonne, Quebec. Design plans call for the renovation of a library; for the demolition of a municipal facility; municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
Rehabilitation, preservation and enhancement of the 310 Côte Terrebonne site, which has significant heritage value, by creating a service point for its library network, an exhibition space and an artistic creation space. The scope of work includes the demolishment of certain buildings on the site as a first step to secure the area during the planning and specifications process. The site development must include the creation of pedestrian walkways and small squares along a discovery trail offering diverse experiences. TIMELINE: The owner has awarded professional consultants for design and construction work monitoring. Preliminary studies and conceptual planning are underway. Preliminary plans are expected to begin in summer 2026. Schedules for further project development are being finalized. Note. Implementation of the project will be phased. First construction phase relating to partial demolition work may proceed to realization in late 2026.
