Engineers Opinion of Probable Construction Cost is $880,000 The major work will consist of the following approximate quantities and items: 2,000 linear feet of 8-inch sewer pipe, 6 each of 4-foot manholes, 4,488 square yards of 11-inch pavement pulverization, 4,488 square yards of 3-inch asphalt pavement Type D, and 2,579 square yards of 6-inch flexible base, Type A, Grade 1. Certain improvements must be performed by a contractor or designated subcontractor who is pre-qualified by the City at the time of bid opening. The procedures for qualification and pre-qualification are outlined in Section 3 of 00 21 13 - Instructions to Bidders. All submissions must be submitted electronically prior to the close date and time under the respective project via the Procurement Portal. Failure to submit all completed required information listed will be grounds for rejection of a bid as non-responsive. No late bids or proposals shall be accepted. All submissions must be clear, legible, and complete. The City reserves the right to waive irregularities and to accept or reject any or all bids. The contract will be awarded to the bidder presenting the lowest price, with qualifications and competencies considered.
