Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in North Liberty, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Complete Street construction including pavement removal, excavation, subbase, 7" PCC pavement, sidewalks, and driveway pavement. This project also includes installation of 8" water main, removal of existing water main, new water services, and replacement of storm and sanitary structures, removal and placement of new RCP storm sewer, and miscellaneous related work and appurtenances in accordance with the contract documents. Bidders must submit their bids on the Proposal Form furnished by the City of Ames, in a sealed and plainly marked envelope indicating it is a bid in response to this notice. Each bid must be accompanied by bid security as defined in Code of Iowa Section 26.8 and as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. The City of Ames reserves the right to defer acceptance of any bid for a period not to exceed thirty days after receipt of bids, and no bid may be withdrawn during this period.
