Annual Sidewalk Repair Program FY2025-2026. Bids must be uploaded electronically to the BPXpress City of Piedmont planroom via the "Submit Bid Docs" tab on the Project page before the bid deadline. Bidders must be logged in as registered users to access the "Submit Bid Docs" tab, which will only be available until the bid deadline, after which submitted bids are sealed and inaccessible until opening. Bidders may propose equals of products specified by submitting complete information to the City Engineer at least 10 working days before the bid opening. All bids must include a bidder's security equal to at least ten percent of the total bid price, presented under sealed cover in one of the allowed forms. The successful bidder must submit all required documents, including payment and performance bonds each in the amount of 100 percent of the contract, within ten working days of award notice. All applicable state labor codes regarding prevailing wages and contractor registration apply. A valid class A California contractor's license is required. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids or waive irregularities. Question Deadline 02/19/2026 Any bidder that discovers any apparent conflicts, errors, or ambiguities contained in the bid package or between the contents of the bid package and the Project site, or that has questions or requires clarification concerning the bid package or its intent must inform the City in writing as soon as reasonably possible, but no later than five (5) working days before the date specified for bid opening.
