The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the removal and replacement of two digested sludge rotary screen units with support frames, ductile iron piping and fittings, PVC piping and fittings, valves, concrete housekeeping pads, masonry repairs, corresponding electrical and instrumentation work, and associated appurtenances. The sites are located at the Southern Water Pollution Control Facility, 150 Cedar Run Dock Road, West Creek, New Jersey 08092 and the Central Water Pollution Control Facility, 501 Hickory Lane, Bayville, New Jersey 08721. Sealed bids must be delivered to 501 Hickory Lane, Bayville, New Jersey 08721. Full sets of bidding documents may be picked up from The Ocean County Utilities Authority, 501 Hickory Lane, Bayville, New Jersey 08721, on or after January 29, 2026 on business days between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. A non-refundable check for $50.00 payable to the Ocean County Utilities Authority is required for each set. Bidders must enclose bid security in the amount of ten percent of the bidder's bid, not exceeding $20,000. Bidders are encouraged to attend a site visit/pre-bid conference at the Central Water Pollution Control Facility. Bidders must comply with all applicable laws, including equal employment opportunity requirements, business registration, prevailing wage rates, and surety bonding regulations.
