Newton Commonwealth Golf Course Hole 6, 7 & 10 Improvements Bid no - 26-42 The Scope of Work at Newton Commonwealth shall include: Bunker Construction 1. Stripping and disposal of all sod within delineated work areas 2. Removal and disposal of all interior bunker sand 3. Removal and disposal of all interior bunker drainage 4. Location/Flushing and capping of existing exit drainage 5. Stripping and stockpiling of all available topsoil (where work is limited existing topsoil may remain in place and be reworked) 6. Restorative or Reconstructive Shaping bunker per sketches and/or field directives 7. Finishing all areas to be sodded including topsoil placement, raking and preplant fertilization 8. Installation of interior bunker drainage per specifications and field layout including tie into existing exit lines 9. Installation of interior bottom sod liner (if specified) 10. Round Up or approved equivalent of all sod bottoms prior to sand installation 10. Installation of Specified Sod on all disturbed areas 11. Installation of bunker sand 12. Finish rake and plate compact bunker sand to specified 5" Greens Construction 1. Stripping (Harvesting-option) all existing green sod Hole 6 (staging in area for continued watering as directed by CLUB 2. Stripping and disposal of all sod within delineated work areas 3. Removal and Stockpiling all interior greens mix material for future use in green surrounds areas 4. Removal and disposal of all interior greens drainage 5. Stripping and stockpiling of all available topsoil (where work is limited existing topsoil may remain in place and be reworked) 6. Construction/Shaping of new green complex including all core elevations, surrounds, approaches per sketches and/or field Directives 7. Installation of all interior greens and exterior surrounds drainage 8. Installation of all interior specified greens rootzone (finish float) 9. Finishing all areas to be sodded withing green surrounds and approach/rough areas 10. Sodding green surface with specified blend 11. Installation of Specified Sod on all disturbed areas Wall Construction 1. Dismantle/Removal of existing keystone block wall (hole 10); stone wall (hole 6/7 tee) 2. Remove all wall material off site 3. Construct new keystone walls at holes 10 and 7 tee per project specifications (including stone backfill with drainage) 4. Remove/Stage/Replace Hedge Material along Hole 7 Wall (replace in kind) Cart Path Construction 6. Removal of existing cart path asphalt material (Hole 10 tee)/ sawcut as market in field 7. Remove all asphalt/curbing material off site 8. Installation of new cart path subbase per project specifications 9. Installation of new asphalt cart path per project specifications 10. Installation of new monolithic pour asphalt cart path per project specifications Tee Construction 1. Stripping and disposal of all sod within delineated work areas 2. Removal and Stockpiling all interior tee mix material for future use in tee surrounds areas 3. Removal and disposal of all interior tee drainage 4. Stripping and stockpiling of all available topsoil (where work is limited existing topsoil may remain in place and be reworked) 5. Construction/Shaping of new tee complex including all core elevations and surrounds tie ins per sketches and/or field directives 6. Installation of all interior tee and exterior surrounds drainage 7. Installation of all interior specified tee rootzone (laser level) 8. Installation of new tee/tee surrounds irrigation 9. Finishing all areas to be sodded withing tee surrounds and rough areas 10. Sodding tee surface with specified blend 11.
