Site work and paving for a road / highway in Newberry Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
**As of March 24th 2026, the project was awarded to Pennsy Supply, with an awarded amount of $298,097.60** Project scope of work consists of Full Depth Reclamation with cement stabilization to a depth of 12-inches, 19mm base courses, 9.5mm wearing course, and associated prep work for Sipe Road and Hill Drive. Shall also include the replacement of 700-feet of guard rail along Sipe Road. QA date - 02/16/2026 at 12:00 PM ET A Contractor shall furnish all materials, implements, machinery, equipment, tools, supplies, transportation, labor and supervision required to construct the facilities as shown on the contract drawings and specified herein. It shall be the responsibility of the Contractor to proceed with the work in the manner and within such limitations as may be prescribed by the Engineer. This contract includes, but is not limited to installation of the following, equipment being provided by Contractor: 1. Mobilization and general conditions. 2. Full Depth Reclamation to a depth of 12" on Sipe Road from Sheepbridge Road to the gravel turnaround. 3. Milling of driveways and all access drives. All milling material to remain the property of Newberry Township and shall be delivered to the Township yard. 4. Installation of a 19mm base course, 3" depth on Sipe Road. 5. Replacement of existing guide rail and end treatments on Sipe Road. 6. Installation of double yellow center lines and single white shoulder lines on Sipe Road. 7. Full Depth Reclamation to a depth of 12" on Hill Drive from Sheepbridge road to Stevens Road. 8. Installation of a 19mm base course, 2.5" depth on Hill Drive. 9. Installation of a 9.5mm wearing course, 1" depth on Hill Drive. 10. Application of tack coat on Hill Drive & Sipe Road. 11. Cleaning of roadways after completion.
