Conewago Township will receive bids for the 2026 Roadway Project. The contract work will include, but not necessarily be limited to, approximately 7,320 square yards of paving fabric, 350 tons of bituminous leveling course, and 920 tons of bituminous wearing course on Beagle Road. A certified check or bid bond for the amount of 10 percent of the total bid shall be required. Bonds must be issued by a surety licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The contract is subject to the following: the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act conditions; the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 (OSHA) conditions; the Pennsylvania Act 229 of 2002; the Pennsylvania One Call Act (Underground Utility Line Protection Law, Act 287 of 1974, as amended); the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act 222 Condition; requirement of a noncollusion affidavit; the non-discrimination in Employment/Contract Compliance Regulations Conditions; and the Public Works Employment Verification Act.
