The project consists of Hurricane Laura Damages Restoration at WHS Gymnasium - Hurricane Laura Repairs HL-064-06. Complete bid documents are available electronically and bidders are responsible for any associated costs for obtaining or reproducing documents. Bids must be accompanied by a bid security of not less than five percent (5%) of the Base Bid and all Additive Alternates, in the form of a certified or cashier's check on a FDIC-insured bank, or a bid bond from a surety company licensed in Louisiana with an A.M. Best rating of "A" or better, countersigned by an authorized agent residing in the state. Bids will only be accepted from contractors licensed under LS R.S. 37:2150-2163 for the classification of Building Construction. Bids cannot be withdrawn for thirty days after receipt except as provided by law. Evidence of authority to submit the bid is required as per state law. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be conducted at the specified project location, and attendance is a pre-requisite for submitting a bid. All prospective bidders must be present for the entire pre-bid conference. Failure to attend prohibits submission of a bid. Each bid must be placed in a sealed envelope and clearly marked with the project title and opening information. Refer to instructions for bidders for additional envelope requirements. Bids may also be submitted electronically through the designated website with required free registration. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause as permitted by law.
