The City of Allegan is requesting bids for the construction of the Rossman Park Utility & Roadway Reconstruction Project. The project includes reconstruction of streets, utilities (water main, storm, and sanitary sewer), and associated items in the Rossman Park area, which covers neighborhoods to the northeast and southwest of M-89 between Bond Street and Oak Court. The project is partially funded by Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) Water Related Infrastructure Grant Funds. Conditions of employment and requirements include compliance with federal prevailing wage rates, Segregated Facility, Section 3 of the HUD Act of 1968, Section 109, and Equal Opportunity. The Project includes reconstruction of streets, utilities (water main and sanitary sewer) and associated itemsin the Rossman Park area which includesthe neighborhoodsto the northeast and southwest of M-89. Prospective bidders are urged to register as a plan holder on the designated website, regardless of how the bidding documents are obtained. The website will be updated with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, and other relevant information. Partial sets of bidding documents will not be available. Printed documents are available for a non-refundable fee and cost does not include shipping. A pre-bid conference will be held, and attendance is encouraged but not required. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities, and to accept any bid or parts of bids deemed to best serve the interests of the City. No bids may be withdrawn for at least 90 days.
