Jackson County is accepting sealed bids for patch graveling (flash dumping) on Jackson County roads on an on call, as needed basis. The County Highway Department will supply the gravel and provide a loader with a scale for loading. The bidder must provide a loader operator for loading gravel. The County Highway Superintendent will designate the areas on each road for gravel placement. Weight tickets must be turned in daily. Bids should be submitted by ton mile with an itemized explanation of billing. Work starts upon notice from the County Highway Superintendent, and the contract will end on December 31, 2026. A $1,000,000 certificate of insurance is required. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked "Gravel Haul – On Call" and received by the Jackson County Auditor's Office by 11:00 a.m. on the specified date. The Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
