Site work for a road / highway in Democrat, Kentucky. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway.

Solicitation canceled. Re-bid details to follow. Letcher County Fiscal Court is requesting bids for bioengineering services at several locations around Letcher County. Services include applying soil and planting Kentucky native vegetation, using live stakes and seeding, in between joint or rock openings into shoulder/embankment channel lining according to construction specifications and drawings provided in the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet Best Management Practices for Controlling Erosion, Sediment, and Pollutant Runoff from Construction Sites. These mitigation measures are intended to reduce future damage by preventing scour and erosion on embankments, adding strength and structure to the soil, reinforcing channel linings, and protecting road integrity during flooding events. Any contractor with overdue work for the county is ineligible for additional work until overdue projects are completed. Required documents for submission include a copy of insurance and a copy of the Drug Free Workplace Policy.
