The project involves construction work in Sedgwick County, Kansas, known as Sedgwick County Project Surfacing and Drainage Improvements to Serve Osage Country- Ph II. The work to be performed includes approximately 0.097 miles and consists of asphalt surfacing, grading, seeding, and signing. Bids must be submitted either physically or via email, with each response containing one original and one copy of the bid document including any supplementary materials. Physical submissions must be in a sealed envelope, properly marked with the firm's name and address, RFB number, and Bid Opening date. Email submissions must include the RFB number in the subject line, and separate emails must be used if bidding on multiple projects. Bids must be received prior to the specified deadline to be considered responsive. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or bid bond amounting to at least five percent of the proposal as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and provide the required bonds if awarded the contract. Contract Documents are available electronically for download. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive technicalities.
