The City of Kenedy is soliciting statements of qualifications for professional engineering services associated with proposed infrastructure improvements to support economic development. The selected engineering firm will be responsible for preparing the required EDA Preliminary Engineering Report as specified in the ED-900C application supplement. If grant funding is awarded, the firm will also prepare all preliminary and final design plans, specifications, bid documents, construction documents, and provide construction oversight including necessary interim inspections and final inspection. These services must be performed according to the EDA Standard Terms and Conditions for Construction Projects, Title II - Subtitle A - Chapter 2 Part 200 of the Code of Federal Regulations, and all applicable local, State, and Federal laws, regulations, and executive orders. Qualifications must be submitted as one original, two physical copies, and one electronic copy, in a sealed package marked "RFQ EDA Engineering Services" and delivered to the City of Kenedy at the specified address. Submittals received after the deadline will not be considered. The City reserves the right to negotiate with any and all individuals or firms that submit proposals. Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises, Women Business Enterprises, and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to submit proposals.
