Renovation of an educational facility in Franklin Park, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 41,000-square-foot educational facility.
Project includes a roughly 41,000 square foot replacement of an existing roof at East Leyden High School. Lump sum bid proposals will be received for this project. Bid security in the form of a bid bond only in an amount equal to 10 percent of the base bid amount shall be submitted with the bid. Bid security shall be made payable to the Board of Education. Bids shall be submitted on or before the specified closing time in an opaque sealed envelope addressed to: Mr. Andrew Sharos, Chief School Business Official, Leyden High School District 212, 3400 North Rose Street, Franklin Park, IL 60131. The Bid Package # must be clearly marked on the envelope. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, or waive any irregularities or informalities, and to make the award in the best interest of the District. All bidders must comply with applicable Illinois Law requiring the payment of prevailing wages by all Contractors working on public works. Bidder must comply with the Illinois Statutory requirements regarding labor, including Equal Employment Opportunity Laws.
