Site work and paving for a civil project in Chesterfield, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and road / highway.

The construction of roadway and bridge on new alignment split into two plan sets (Phase 1 and Phase 2). Phase 1 includes approximately 5,075 LF of roadway from Adaline Acres to I-295. Phase 2 includes a 1,228' bridge with approach roadways totaling approximately 370 LF. Phase 2 begins at Henricus Historical Park and ends at the new turnaround adjacent to Adaline Acres. The work will include clearing, ground improvements, grading, asphalt paving, drainage structures, erosion & sediment control, bridge, signage, pavement markings, landscaping, adjustment of private utilities, and other items necessary for the completion of the work. Contractors must be on VDOT's current Pre-qualified list at the time/date set for the opening of bids in order to be eligible for this contract.
