Description

Site work and renovation of a detention facility in Chateauguay, Quebec. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a detention facility; and for site work for a detention facility.

Increasing Security Measures in three detention facilities in Trois-Rivières, Québec and Rimouski. The scope of work includes the development of enclosed courtyards consisting of a concrete slab, upon which walls and a metal-framed roof covered with wire mesh will be placed. Inside the fenced courtyards, lighting, surveillance cameras, and a prison-type telecommunications system will be installed. TIMELINE: Request for proposals for civil, structural and electrical engineering services to complete design and conduct construction surveillance is underway. Reference number: 20119499. Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2026-02-17. Award by packages is not planned.
