The work involves furnishing all equipment, labor, and materials necessary to repair the Geobrugg rockfall fence on US 23 in Pike County. Project quantities will be provided to the vendor through a written Transportation Delivery Order. The vendor is responsible for the removal and disposal of damaged appurtenances, which will not be measured for payment but will be incidental to other items of work. All steel components must be galvanized. The work is to conform to the requirements of the Transportation Cabinet/Department of Highways’ 2026 Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, except as otherwise provided. Bidders must submit their bids online through the Kentucky Vendor Self Service site. Emailed and hard copies of bids will not be accepted. Bidders are instructed to enter contact information in the Comments Section and to review and update their account addresses and contact persons before bid submission to ensure accuracy for any resulting contract.
