Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Scope of work to primarily include the following: Replacement of drainage culvert on S Drury St. Bids will only be received electronically through https://stillwater.ionwave.net. Bids shall be submitted as stated in the Instructions to Bidders. Any bid received by the City Clerk more than ninety-six (96) hours, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, before the time set for the opening of bids, or any bid so received after the time set for opening of bids, shall not be considered and shall be returned unopened to the bidder submitting same. Bids will be referred to city staff for evaluation. The City Council may award a contract to the "lowest and best responsible bidder". The Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids or portions thereof and to waive any technicalities in the bidding process. No bid may be altered, withdrawn, or resubmitted within 45 days after the date set for the opening of bids. Each bidder is required to submit with their bid a guarantee in the form of an acceptable bidder's bond, a certified check, or a cashier's check on a solvent bank in the state of Oklahoma, and in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid. The successful bidder shall execute a contract within 14 calendar days of Notice of Award by the City. A contract embodying the terms set forth in the bidding documents shall be executed by the City/SUA within 60 days of the award of the Contract. The successful bidder shall file a performance bond, maintenance bond, statutory bond and certificates of insurance in the statutory amounts for public liability and workers compensation insurance at the time of signing the contract. Any agreement entered into as a result of this invitation to bid shall be construed under the laws of the State of Oklahoma, and the venue for enforcement of the agreement shall be Payne County in the State of Oklahoma. The City may issue addenda as may be necessary in the best interest of the public and the City of Stillwater. Addenda issued through Ionwave may amend the date and/or time for receipt of bids or any specification, item, document, or requirement in the Bidding Documents.
