There are two CRAC units in the data center that have been inoperable for at least a year. Currently, two temporary HVAC units are helping cool the room, but they may not be adequate enough come summertime. Tuskegee is looking for a vendor that can help with the purchase and installation of new HVAC units/equipment. Designs and drawings have already been created detailing how we want the new HVAC system laid out. General Requirements - Certified Payroll - Contractors License Required - Employee Background Checks Required - Installation Required - Insurance Required - Material Safety Data Sheets Required - Onsite Maintenance Required - Removal of the 2 inoperable HVAC units in the data center plus the 2 exterior condensers. - Expand the size of the concrete pad for the exterior condensers to accommodate a third unit. - The procurement and installation of 3 15 ton-capacity DX split HVAC systems (indoor/outdoor unit) in the data center. These will need to be configured as activeactive-passive units. - The procurement and installation of ~1,894 lbs of ductwork and ~1,275 sqft of ductwork insulation, installed based on design given by TU. - The procurement and installation of 16 24" x 16" return grilles. - Patch holes in existing floor tile so new HVAC system will function properly. Alternatively, provide recommendations for replacement tiles.
