Reference Number 0000411156 Bid Intent Not Available This is a Best Value Approach (BVA) Request for Proposals, a unique procurement method. The City will present training to understand and properly apply the BVA method in the Pre-Proposal Conference. The approach on this project has been adjusted from City's last BVA RFP and attendance is highly recommended to understand how to respond successfully to this RFP. The City of Longmont desires to contract with a team that will provide design/construction services for Sandstone Ranch Phase 4. Sandstone Ranch Community Park and Nature Area is situated on 313 acres of land abundant in natural, cultural, and historic resources. It is both a community park and a nature area. The western side of the park features a 4-plex ball field complex. The eastern side of the park features sports fields, a skate park, an adventure playground, and a group picnic shelter. Sandstone Ranch Phase 4 is the final phase of the Sandstone Ranch Community Park. It is located at 3001 CO-119 in Longmont, CO. This Phase, approximately 20 acres, will be built in the southwest quadrant of the park. The City desires to contract with a design/build team that will provide full design/construction services for the development of Phase 4. Previously developed Design Development level drawings for phase 4 are provided with this RFP for reference. Final program elements will be determined during the initial design discussions included in the current scope. Contract Award 3/20/2026 Project Kick Off - Q2 2026 Question Deadline 02/11/2026 at 5:00 PM MT Questions are submitted online Yes Submit questions via the RMEPS Question & Answer for this RFP until the Inquiry Deadline provided in the Schedule of Events. All questions and answers will be consolidated and will be incorporated into the RFP by addendum. The City is not responsible to respond to late questions. The City will publish responses to proposers inquiries as an addendum on RMEPS in a timely manner. Proposers cannot rely on any other statements that clarify or alter any specification or other term or condition of the RFP.
