The County reserves the right to accept orreject any and all bids, in whole or in part, that are deemed to be in the best interest of the county at its sole discretion. Liquidated Damages Contractors shall complete 100% of the improvements within the number of calendar days specified within the Comments to Project, ($1,000.00 per day liquidated damages) from the date of the Notice to Proceed. If liquidated damages are not paid, the contractor agrees the County may deduct the amount of liquidated damages from any money due or that becomes due the contractor under this contract. All deductions from any money due to the contractor are considered to be liquidated damages and not apenalty.
