Description

Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in New York, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The work includes the replacement of 16 final settling tank collection system mechanisms and baffles; replacement of the diffuser systems in four aeration tanks; rehabilitation of the aeration tank and final settling tank interior and exterior concrete structures; replacement of the four aeration blowers; addition of a second floor to the Electrical Room (Substation No. 5) within the Return & Waste Sludge Building; and improvements related to final settling tank systems such as sludge (RAS), polymer, scum, and foam spray water pumping controls (I&C). The project also includes improvement to the HVAC system to support the equipment replacement. Bidding opportunities are available for: concrete repairs, concrete supply, structural steel supply, roadway restoration, slip resistant roofing, access hatch supply, roofing/insulation, handrail/guardrail supply, air handling unit replacement, ventilation equipment installation, fire dampers, HVAC ducts, replacement of tank effluent weirs, tank target baffles, polymer skid, sump pumps, interim pumps, intake louvers, discharge piping, medium voltage breakers, new control panels, substation No.5 replacement with associated equipment, feeder replacement, comms wiring, fire alarm improvements, and exterior lighting replacement.
