The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment, and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the plans and described in the specifications, including but not limited to: replacing Almeter Road bridge with a single span spread box beam bridge on integral abutments, installing new bridge and guide rail, full depth reconstruction of the approaches, and an offsite detour utilizing the eastern end of Almeter Road. Contractors must register with Fisher Associates to be placed on the official plan holders list. Only bidders on this list will receive addenda and bid correspondence, and only their bids will be accepted. No questions or inquiries will be accepted within three business days prior to the bid opening. Addenda will be sent via email; bidders must acknowledge receipt by signing and dating each addendum and providing an emailed response. All completed bids must include the Bid Form, Non-Collusive Bidding and Disbarment Certifications, and Lobbying Certifications, and be accompanied by bid security of at least 5% of the bid amount. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly labeled for the Almeter Road Bridge Replacement, and late bids will not be accepted. The successful bidder must provide performance, payment, and guarantee bonds for 100% of the accepted bid amount, have an approved CCA-2 on file with NYSDOT, and comply with all Federal Equal Employment Opportunity requirements and prevailing wage regulations. Bidders must promptly notify Fisher Associates of any errors, omissions, conflicts, or ambiguity within the Contract Documents within 7 days of bid opening. Bids will be considered for up to 45 days after receipt, and Wyoming County reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any and all bids. There are no M/WBE goals for this project. The proposed bridge will be a single span spread box beam bridge with a span of 43'-0". The abutments will be integral abutments on concrete filled steel pipe piles constructed behind the existing abutments. The approaches will have full depth reconstruction with installation of guide rail.
