Reference Number 0000411223 The City has multiple buildings with HVAC heating and cooling systems of varying ages. This bid is offered for contractors who can maintain HVAC systems. As Bid security, each Bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond in the amount of five (5%) percent of the total amount of the base Bid, payable to the City of Peekskill. The Bid security shall be held by the City as a guarantee for the proper execution and delivery of the Contract and bonds by the successful Bidder. Attention of Bidders is called to the requirements as to the conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the Contract. The Bidder to whom a Contract is awarded will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds from an acceptable surety company. Question Acceptance Deadline 02/16/2026 05:00 PM EST Questions are submitted online No Bid Award: March 9, 2026 The City welcomes any Minority and Women Business Enterprise (M/WBE) to submit a bid for this contract, but there is no specific M/WBE requirement for this contract. The City reserves the right to waive any informality in any bid; to reject any or all bids or portion of a bid; to make minor deviations to the bid specifications, if deemed in the best interests of the City.
