Construct a new gas room by dividing the existing IT Room 223-E into two separate rooms, creating a new gas room of approximately 40 square feet and an IT room of approximately 104 square feet. Install new acoustic ceiling grid and tiles, new LED ceiling lights, diffusers, and sprinkler heads. Provide and install an automatic medical gas manifold system to regulate and monitor gas cylinder pressure to ensure continuous, uninterrupted gas service to Microbiology and the Blood Bank. Install new LCD medical gas alarm systems in the new gas room, the Blood Bank, and Microbiology. Provide new medical gas pipelines and outlets to support existing equipment, including incubators. Install a new RTU dedicated exhaust fan to maintain continuous negative pressure in the gas room, with the entire gas system and RTU connected to emergency power. Demolish the existing gas room, including its gas control system and accessories. Work shall comply with NFPA 55 and all applicable code requirements. No asbestos abatement is anticipated in the construction areas. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to complete the project.The magnitude of the project is between $250,000 and $500,000.
