Sealed bids are requested for the "Night Ridge Park Playground Replacement" Project. Bids must be submitted with the project name clearly stated on the envelope, including the company name and address. If a mandatory pre-bid conference is listed, attendance at the entire pre-bid meeting and project walk-through is required for bidding eligibility. Subcontractor attendance is optional but encouraged. Addenda will be issued in response to questions at the meeting, and only statements confirmed by Addenda are binding. Site access prior to the bid is restricted and requires City approval and accompaniment. Contract Documents must be obtained in full from the City, either for purchase or free online download, and must be used for preparing bids. Written questions must be directed as specified. Bids are at the bidder's expense. Bids must be submitted on provided forms by the stated deadline; late bids will not be opened. Each bid must include appropriate bid security. The successful bidder may need to provide Material and Labor Payment and Performance Bonds, each for 100% of the Contract Price, depending on the bid amount. The City reserves the right to award contracts to the lowest responsible bidders, reject any or all bids, and waive inconsequential irregularities. The project will consist of: o Demolition and disposal of existing play structure o Equipment installation to plan per 25_7727_NightRidgePark_004 DIM Plan specification o Re-installation of EWWF and Top Off o CPSI Inspections for both structures o Bonding Fees The scope of work is described more fully in Exhibit A to Construction Agreement for Construction. Total shall include all tools, labor and materials needed to complete the project including traffic control. Demolition & Disposal Remove and dispose of existing structures that are indicated for removal. The playground equipment to be removed becomes the property of the Contractor. Temporary Site Security Furnish, install, and later remove temporary chain-link security fencing around the construction zone for the duration of the project.
