The Georgia State Financing and Investment Commission (GSFIC) will accept bids in strict conformity with the bidding and Contract Documents for the Georgia Northwestern Technical College CDL Pad project located in Dalton, Georgia. Bidders must submit the Bid Verification and Statement of Qualifications and all other required forms by uploading them to e-Builder, ensuring all forms are fully completed and executed when submitted. Bidders must ensure their bids are received before the specified bid opening time. Instructions for registering and bidding in e-Builder are provided. A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the project site, and failure to attend will result in disqualification from the bid process. All questions regarding the bidding documents, process, and system should be submitted in e-Builder; only written questions and responses are binding. Communication with State employees is prohibited except with the designated contracting officer and during the pre-bid conference; violation of this provision may result in bid rejection. TheProject consists of _ a new Commercial Driver's License (CDL) driving range and classroom building for Georgia Northwestern Technical College on the Whitfield County Campus in Dalton, GA. The driving range will consist of a 119,500 SF asphalt training pad, including trailer parking, observation tower, drive-thru canopy and training carousels. The 2,235 sf, Type II building will consist of a classroom, faculty offices, storage, and restrooms, as well as a 168 sf covered patio and 520 sf of fenced in yard/storage to support the CDL program. The building will be constructed of exterior CMU walls with steel roof joist with brick water table and fiber cement panel.
