Demolition and site work for a mixed-use development in Dayton, Ohio. Working plans call for the demolition of a medical facility; and for site work for a medical facility.
This project requires the complete demolition of two brick buildings, designated as Buildings 149 and 150, which have suffered total roof collapses resulting in severe structural damage to the exterior supporting walls. Due to the extent of deterioration, both structures are beyond repair and must be fully demolished, including all roof components and exterior wall systems. Building 149 is located within a confined courtyard surrounded by adjacent facilities and connecting corridors, requiring additional planning for access, safety, and demolition operations. All work must be completed within 120 calendar days from the notice to proceed, and the contractor must coordinate all activities with the COR at least two weeks in advance to ensure uninterrupted operation of the medical center. Work may occur during normal business hours or after hours and weekends as appropriate, with normal work hours defined as 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Plans, specifications, and solicitation documents will be available electronically at no cost. This procurement is restricted to Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
