The scope of work involves the complete replacement of the existing Stadium Parking Lot paving, including furnishing and installing lighting, chain link fencing, and landscaping. Instructions to bidders include: - Bidders must possess and maintain an active State of California contractor's license (A or B) and be registered as a public works contractor with the Department of Industrial Relations. - Contract Documents are available for purchase in hard copy or electronic format from ABC Imaging. - Sealed bids must be submitted at the District Site Support Services Center by the specified deadline. Bids submitted after this time will be nonresponsive. - Prequalification is required for bidders and certain subcontractors for contracts of $1 million or more. Any non-prequalified bid will be nonresponsive and returned unopened. - All bids must use the District's provided form and comply with all Contract Documents and Instructions to Bidders. - Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, cash, cashier's or certified check for 10% of the total bid price as a guarantee. - Attendance at the mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit is required; non-attendance or tardiness renders the bid ineligible. - The successful bidder must provide 100% Performance and Payment Bonds. - Prevailing wage rates must be paid, and labor compliance is subject to monitoring by the Department of Industrial Relations.
