Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Abbotsford, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The base scope of work generally includes the following tasks: Mobilization of equipment to site; Necessary Archaeological efforts to support chance find procedures during construction. Construction of a cut-off seepage wall on either side of the pump station comprising of a combination of cutter-soil-mixing and jet grouting. Installation of steel pipe piles and concrete pile cap; Cast-in-place concrete flood wall; Installation of perforated drainage piping, drainage sumps, and modification of existing yard piping; Installation of a new access road complete with fencing and electronically controlled access gate; Asphalt paving of portion of the site; Removal of existing rock covered berm and 3 trees; Demolition of existing loc-block retaining wall; Removal of and relocation of existing waterline potable water service; Supply and installation of a new septic tank; Supply and installation of new riprap scour protection Modifications and additions to existing chain-link fence; and Coordination of environmental services to oversee construction activities.
