Reference number: 20119803 Deadline for receipt of complaints 2026-02-16 Expected duration of the contract without options (in months) 24 The City of Sherbrooke is requesting bids for the restoration of doors and windows and the interior renovation of the Uplands Cultural and Heritage Centre. More specifically, but not limited to, the project includes the rehabilitation and modernization of interior surfaces of walls, floors and ceilings. It also provides for the upgrading of mechanical, electrical and decorative components, as well as the repair of finishes, including mechanical grilles, lighting fixtures, plaster surfaces and old coatings, as well as varnished or painted wood floors. Phase 1 work must be completed within a maximum of seven (7) months following the order to begin. Interventions on doors and windows may, if applicable, be carried out in 2026 or 2027, provided that all the work of Phase 1 is completed by October 1, 2026. The contractor may choose to execute the project in two phases spread over two years, following the planned sequence and operational constraints of the museum detailed in section 4. Phase 1 (orange), covering the exhibition area of the original building, must be completed before October 1, 2026. Phase 2 (blue), aimed at the administrative sector, must be completed by June 30, 2027 according to the chosen planning.
