Demolition for a municipal facility in Hamilton, Ontario. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility.
The purpose of this Prequalification process is to establish a list of qualified contractors for demolition projects of facilities including the building division within the City of Hamilton. The criteria shown are meant to provide a standard quality for managerial and technical capability as many demolition projects commence near residential neighborhoods and recreational areas (i.e., parks or public gathering areas) and the process requires due diligence and effective controls with the aim to minimize risk to all stakeholders involved. Applications received from prequalified Applicants on demolition projects as a result of this Request for Prequalification will be considered for future specified tendered projects for a three-year (3) period.
