Sealed bids are requested for tree removal services for Pflumm Bridge over Coffee Creek (BR-1902). Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes addressed and marked as specified. Bidders must include a completed bid form and a bid bond amounting to at least five percent of the total bid. Bids must be made using the provided form in ink or typewritten, with numbers stated in both writing and figures, and must be signed in long hand. Any alterations or erasures are not allowed. For alternate items where no bid is submitted, indicate "no bid" on the bid form. No oral, facsimile, or telephonic bids or alterations are accepted. The successful bidder must provide satisfactory bonds equal to 100% of the contract amount, required insurance certificates, and other necessary documents before the contract is executed. Bids may be modified or withdrawn by written request prior to the opening. No bidder may withdraw a bid for 30 days after opening. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to waive technicalities or irregularities. Submission of a bid constitutes agreement to these terms. Rejection of a bid creates no liability for the City, and no cause of action for bid preparation costs exists for unsuccessful bidders.
