Site work for a water / sewer project in Albany, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
All work required for replacing water mains according to bid documents, specifications, and all other contract documents. The project will be bid on a lump sum basis for all specified work and awarded to the responsive and responsible bidder submitting the lowest base bid. A 5% Bid Bond is required for divisions where the total bid amount exceeds $250,000.00. 100% Performance and Payment Bonds will be required for contracts in excess of $250,000.00, otherwise bonding requirements may be waived. Each division or project is a separate and independent contract. The City of Albany encourages participation by Small Business firms, reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any informalities in the bidding process. Bid documents are available at the Procurement Division, on the City website, and the Georgia Procurement Registry.
