Renovation of an office development in Lansing, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a office development.
The work includes modifying electrical floor box locations, adding new decorative lighting, modifying existing light fixture locations, removing old office furniture, adding new office furniture, removing sinks, modifying VAV box locations, modifying walls, and painting specific areas. Bids must be based on the specified or Addendum-approved materials and equipment only. No 'or equal' or substitution proposals will be permitted after Bid opening, except as provided in the General Conditions. Each bid over $50,000.00 requires a performance bond and a payment bond. Each bid must be accompanied by a five percent bid guarantee. Builders risk insurance is required to be provided by the contractor unless otherwise indicated in the bid documents. Bidders are also cautioned to familiarize themselves with all other conditions of the contract.
