Before any construction work is started on this contract, the Contractor shall furnish and install Project Identification Signs at the locations designated by the Engineer. The signs shall be in accordance with the details contained within the Appendix of these Special Provisions. The signs shall be kept clean and in good repair by the Contractor. Upon completion of the work, the signs shall be removed and shall become the property of the Contractor. Full compensation for furnishing, erecting, maintaining, and removing the construction project identification signs shall be considered as included in the lump sum bid, and no additional compensation will be allowed therefor. The work comprises conducting environmental boring and drilling on the airport property, located at the Palm Springs International Airport, 3400 E. Tahquitz Canyon Way, Palm Springs, California, to install five groundwater monitoring wells and advance six soil borings at discrete locations around the airport property to facilitate the collection of soil and groundwater samples. The engineer's estimate is $320,000 to $382,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
