**As of April 22, 2026, the project was awarded to MTL Construction, with an awarded amount of $585,776.89.** The City of Buda proposes to construct additional vehicular parking at the City of Buda Park . The City proposes to add approximately 134 parking spaces with an asphalt surface. The scope of the project includes grading and drainage, importing borrow fill material, sub-grade preparation, flexible base, asphalt with curb and gutter, landscaping, revegetation of disturbed areas, signage, striping, etc. The project includes the "east" parking lot only. Per 2258.022 of the Texas Government Code, the City specifies in this call for bids that the prevailing wage rates determined in the specifications are to be paid. An acceptable bid bond in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid shall accompany each bid as a guaranty that, if awarded the contract, the bidder/proposer will promptly enter contract with the City of Buda and furnish bonds on the forms provided. Bidders are expected to inspect the site of the work and to inform themselves of all local conditions.
