Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Pasadena, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
Project Description: The Proposed Improvements Will Include Removal of Existing Storm Sewer Pipe, Inlets and Manholes, and Existing Pavement, Curbs, Driveways and Sidewalks and Replacing With New Storm Sewer and Pavement Infrastructure That Meet Current Pasadena Standards. Existing Landscaping, and Utilities That Conflict With the Proposed Work Will Be Removed and Replaced or Relocated as Needed. Traffic Control That Maintains a Minimum of One Lane of Traffic in Active Construction Zones Will Be Required to Allow Access for Emergency Vehicles Access. Two Lanes of Traffic Are Required in Areas Where No Active Construction is Occurring. No Bids May Be Withdrawn After the Scheduled Closing Time for Receiving of Bids, for at Least Thirty (30) Days. Bidders Will Be Required to Furnish Verifiable References With Their Bids/proposals and to Provide Payment and Performance Bonds. The "owner" Reserves the Right to Reject Any and/ or All Bids and to Waive Formalities. Pursuant Chapter 2269 Subchapter C of the Texas Government Code, a Contract Will Be Awarded to the Lowest Responsible Bidder That Hasthe Experience and Reputation, Quality of Goods and Services, Safety Record, Proposed Personnel, and Financial Capability to Complete This Project. This Project Will Be Federally Funded by the U.s. Housing and Urban Development (Hud) Department Through the Texas General Land Office (Glo) Bidders Shall Comply With Regulations Governing the Cdbg Disaster Recovery Reallocation Program (Regulation 24 Cfr 570). Applicable Requirements Include but Are Not Limited to Compliance With the Davis-bacon and Related Acts, Fair Labor Standards, Equal Employment Opportunity, Affirmative Action, Section 3 of the Hud Act of 1968, and Contracting Withsmall, Minority, and Disadvantage Firms, as Detailed in the Project Manual.
