Thunder Ridge Industrial Park ProjectFloyd County Fiscal Court is requesting Statements of Qualifications from qualified consulting firms wishing to provide planning, preliminary engineering reporting, design, bidding, construction administration and inspection services related to the proposed Thunder Ridge Industrial Park located on KY Route 3, Prestonsburg, Kentucky. This project is being funded by a 2024 Kentucky Product Development Initiative (KPDI) Grant. Engineering services will include planning, preliminary engineering, engineering design and cost estimate for construction of a 50,000 s.f. speculative building and other infrastructure on a 50 +/- acre site that includes, construction drawings, specifications, plans, permits as well as bid procedures and recommendations of a construction contractor; construction inspection of the project, professional services including review of environmental assessment material, geo-technical review, preparation of bidding and contract documents; pre-construction conferences, preparation and submission of pay estimates; act as the County's representative on regulatory matters; and engineering g g inspection/reporting during and following actual construction. The Floyd County Fiscal Court reserves the right to schedule interviews with any or all respondents or to reject any or all proposals. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. Requests for proposals for design services is underway.
