In general, the Project consists of consists of removal of the existing boat ramp, bulkhead and concrete rubble and construct new site features, including but not limited to, new concrete boat ramp, new seawall, new asphalt parking lot, underground stormwater system and other site features identified in the construction documents. Contractor is responsible for following all requirements within the project permits and will be required to obtain all necessary permits from Santa Rosa County Building Inspections for the sea wall and dock extensions. Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners encourages all segments of the business community to participate in its procurement opportunities, including small businesses, minority/women owned businesses, and disadvantaged business enterprises. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to waive irregularities in bids, to reject any or all bids for sound documented reasons, and to award the bid that it determines to be in the best interest of Santa Rosa County. The term "Work" means the construction and services required by the Contract Documents, whether completed or partially completed, and includes all other labor, materials, equipment, and services provided or to be provided by the Contractor to fulfill the Contractor's obligations.
