Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in New Lothrop, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.
This project consists of reconstruction of 2026 CAT B STREETS - Saginaw Street and New Lothrop Road (from Allan Street to Johnstone Road). The project also includes parking lot reconstruction behind the township fire department garage. The work is within the Village of New Lothrop and Hazelton Township and includes: Section 1: 1.09 miles of HMA crushing and shaping within the village, totaling approximately 15,500 square yards, including balancing, grading, repaving of the existing HMA roadway and parking lot, and placement of both HMA leveling and wearing courses. Section 2: 1.0 mile of HMA wearing course and wedging on the existing roadway in the township outside of the village limits, both sections totaling approximately 5,500 tons of MDOT 13A, structure adjustments, shoulder gravel, signing and traffic control, cleanup and restoration, and other miscellaneous work items typically included in such projects.
