Wylie ISD is seeking proposals from experienced vendors to replace serving lines at two campuses, Davis Intermediate School, 950 E. Park Blvd, Wylie, Texas, and Cooper Junior High School, 101 Hensley Lane, Wylie, Texas. The District intends to use Federal Funds (Student Nutrition Funding) for this purchase, the successful offeror must agree to the state and federal regulations for a contract as per 2 CFR 200.318-326 and portions of the Texas State Agency ARM Section 17, and TEC 44. This proposal is scheduled to be awarded to a single vendor by the Wylie ISD Board of Trustees on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, that will include product, support services, and warranties. An award of a contract resulting from this solicitation does not imply an exclusive engagement or that any purchase is guaranteed to any awardee. Wylie ISD reserves the right to request post-proposal modifications, including best and final offers, as well as post-proposal vendor meetings. Wylie ISD also reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, to waive all technicalities and informalities, to be the sole judge of quality and equality, and to accept the proposal(s) that is determined to best meet the needs of the District. Wylie Independent School District ("Wylie ISD" or "District") Student Nutrition Department requests proposals from qualified companies to provide Student Nutrition Serving Line Replacement products, installation, training, implementation and maintenance services in accordance with terms, conditions and specifications established herein. Project Location: Wylie ISD - Davis Intermediate School, 950 Park Boulevard, Wylie, Texas 75098 Project Location: Wylie ISD - Raymond Cooper Junior High School, 101 Hensley Lane, Wylie, Texas 75098 Serving Line Manufacturer: Mod-U-Serve, including manufacturer provided or sourced components, is responsible for the fabricating of the product with proper workmanship, void of errors, per the written specification and signed submittal drawings, per the scope of work timeframe defined. Mod-U-Serve is to deliver, install and make all serving lines and buyout equipment ready for final electrical connections Mod-U-Serve is responsible to remove and relocate all existing serving lines. Mod-U-Serve is responsible for turnkey install including all rough-ins and final connections. Mod-U-Serve is responsible to remove all installation related trash and debris from the jobsite. Upon final completion of the installation of the serving line, it is the responsibility of the Mod-U-Serve sales representative to provide a thorough educational demonstration covering operation, cleaning, and preventative maintenance. Successful Bidding Foodservice Equipment Dealer: A representative of the successful bidding dealer, in conjunction with the Manufacturer's Rep, is to coordinate with Wylie ISD the signing of approval drawings in person, including all material finishes. Wylie ISD: Wylie ISD IT department is responsible to run CAT-5 to the POS and connect it to the data receptacle. The Wylie ISD IT department is also responsible for both the POS and POS connections. Any asbestos testing and/or asbestos abatement is the responsibility of Wylie ISD.
