The City is requesting proposals from qualified bidder(s) to supply and deliver Sodium Hexametaphosphate in full accordance with specifications, terms, and conditions contained in this Written Bid (WB). The Utilities Department has an estimated annual usage of 20,0000 lbs of Sodium Hexametaphosphate. The Bidder shall submit a proposal per the bid specifications specified in the bid documents. Once the Solicitation has been issued, a Cone of Silence will be implemented. At that time communication with the CITY is limited to the Procurement Department. During the solicitation advertising, review and evaluation process no person shall make any private or separate delivery of marketing information concerning any Bidder/Proposer to any elected officers of the City, members of the City staff or members of the Evaluation Committee. Cone of Silence shall terminate at the time the City makes an award to a Bidder(s)/Proposer(s) that becomes final as a result of no procurement protest being filed or takes other action that ends this solicitation. Any action of a Bidder/Proposer in violation of this may be cause for disqualification of the Bidder/Proposer. Minority-Owned, Woman-Owned, and Small Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond to this solicitation.
