As of March 27, 2026, project has been awarded to JMLT Properties LLC in the amount of $9,400. The City of Stroud is seeking bids or proposals for the demolition, remediation, and clean-up of the condemned property located at 616 West 6th Street within the city limits. Sealed bids must be submitted to the City Clerk's Office at Stroud City Hall, either in person or by mail, clearly marked as "BID FOR PROPERTY DEMOLITION." The project is funded by the City of Stroud, and the city reserves the right to reject any or all bids for any reason. Bids must adhere to the requirements of the State of Oklahoma Competitive Bidding Act. Bid packets are available upon request by email or at Stroud City Hall. On Behalf of the City of Stroud , the City is now accepting sealed bids for the demolition , remediation , and clean -up of the following properties ; 616 West 5th Street The Contractor is responsible for all permits , demolition , hauling off of all debris . The lot shall be left in such a manner that it can be walked on and mowed with no difficulty . No debris shall be buried on the site . The City will conduct a minimum of three on site inspections with the contractor ; First inspection , before Contractor begins to remove the structure / debris . Second Inspection , when debris is being removed . Third inspection , or Final Inspection , when all debris is removed and Contractor has completed the project . The City will locate , disconnect and cap all water , sewer and electric lines . The City will also notify the gas company to disconnect all gas service associated with the structure . The Contractor will have 60 days from receiving the Notice to Proceed to complete all work .
