Work includes the repair of cracks in taxiway asphalt pavement at the Neil Armstrong Airport, including crack sealing, full depth asphalt repairs, concrete repair, pavement marking removal and placement, and necessary incidentals to complete the work as detailed on the Contract Drawings and specified in the Contract Documents titled “Taxiway Crack Repair”. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and material necessary to complete the work. Bidders must obtain contract documents through the office of the Engineer and be a plan holder of record. Bids not meeting this requirement will be deemed non-responsive. Bids shall be properly executed and addressed to the specified address together with the documents required by the bid forms, specifications, and related legal documents contained in the Contract Documents. No proposal may be withdrawn for sixty days. The Owner reserves the right to retain bids for up to sixty days, to waive informalities, to award the contract to any Bidder to the Owner's advantage, or to reject all bids. A bid bond or certified check equal to ten percent of the total bid is required as security. Performance and payment bonds each in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price will be required. Each bid must be accompanied by the bidder's financial statement, statement of experience, proposed plan for performing the work, and the equipment available for the work. Wage rates for the project shall not be less than the most recent Prevailing Wage Rates for the State of Ohio. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and to waive any formalities.
