Demolition and site work for an educational facility in Montreal, Quebec. Design plans call for the demolition of a educational facility.
Upgrades and improvement to the École de Technologie Supérieure Facilities. The scope of work includes the demolition of the Dow complex buildings located within the block bounded by Peel, Notre-Dame West, Monfort, and William streets, occupying approximately 5,800 m2 of ground floor area and a total floor area of approximately 38,000 m2. The project includes the demolition of contaminated buildings B, C, D, and GH. The project also includes decontamination and major landscaping work. TIMELINE: Following the requests for proposals ETS-SP25-078 /20121414 and ETS-SP25-079/20125959 the owner has awarded an architectural and an engineering professional consultants for for the project implementation. Preliminary studies and conceptual design are underway. Timelines of further project development are being finalized. Notes: - The project is a part of a major owner's construction program with a value exceeding $50 million followed in the report under CRM ID name École de Technologie Supérieure Expansion - Complex Dow. - Expected duration of the contract without options (in months): 30.
